With this one, we decided to make a bold move and keep the default first dummy article that comes with WordPress.

After all, we’re all busy and want to have some work done fast.

Either way I’ll seize this opportunity to introduce myself, our team and our agency.

My name is Johannes and I’ve been doing digital marketing close to a decade. Digital marketing is a busy space and as much as I’d like to, I can’t focus on everything.

Today most of my time goes to digital marketing strategies that involve Search presence marketing (SEM & SEO), content marketing and e-mail marketing / automation.

I know, that’s the small part of digital marketing.

Our agency WINK was founded in spring 2015, although we started a bit before as freelancers. At one point it made more sense to put our heads together and come up with a cool brand name and offer our services under one roof.

Currently we’re a team of 8 people. 

Apart from digital marketing we also design and develop software (websites, ecommerce and even completely customized solutions) and brands (posters, banners, logos, name generation etc).

We have our offices Tallinn, Estonia (Pärnu mnt 105), so if you’re in the neighborhood passing by we’d love to have a quick chat with you about your business.

Most of our clients are in the B2B sector, however we don’t really limit ourselves and are open to different types of clients. We have chosen this strategy since most of our clients are from Estonia, which is pretty small. If we were to limit ourselves to just on segment we would run out clients to work with quite fast.

Some of our clients and friends have asked: “where does your name come from? Does it mean anything?” .

When we first started to name ourselves we had multiple options on the table.

We wanted it to be short, sweet, easy to say and memorable – WINK.

After some heated discussions we were all satisfied with the name. Little did we know back then that there are dozens of other businesses named wink and even some of them are also marketing agencies.

Oh well…

Coming back to your question. WINK can mean a lot of things. It’s a fast simple facial gesture which I believe represents our attitude – we’re fast, we focus on simplicity and get results.

Where do we see ourselves 5 years from now?

I might have to come back to this blog posts in couple of years to edit it, but I think our main focus for the past years have been to start working more internationally.

We want to work with international clients and also help our current Estonian clients export (either physically or digitally).

We’re also working closely with partners such as media and design agencies and see this continuing in the coming years. I mean why compete with each other when we can climb the mountain together right?

Oh and looks like I hit the 500 word count with this blog posts. If you made it this far, you’re definitely one of my favorite persons.

I mean who takes time from their busy day to read about someone’s agency? (I know, I would).
